Whoa, are you serious on a cheaper version of the Incal book? Do you have any details?
You, sir, just made my day! :D
There was some hoopla about this lately. Two versions of a cheaper hardcover edition were planned, by separate publishers. One by Humanoids and the other by Titan Books. The Titan edition is apparently no longer happening, but Humanoids say they’re releasing one this year. This pretty much explains everything.
I work at a bookstore, and saw the Titan edition advertised in a catalog from them. I’m curious about what the deal is with that, and why it’s no longer happening.
Hey thanks a ton for running this tumblr. easily the most comprehensive moebius reference library out there. Just wondering where you get most of the images from?
Thanks! I actually get most of what I put up here from scans by other people. For a lot of this stuff, I couldn’t get my hands on it without some serious drug money. I’ve scanned in a little myself, but most of isn’t from my collection, which is pretty small anyway. I’m poor, what can I say.
First off: thanks for this site. It's absolutely great and is one of the 'must read tumblrs' currently going on.
2nd off: I got to sit down and moderate a panel this weekend with Geof Darrow and he basically told me I'd never find a copy (at least one that's not like a thousand dollars.).. do you have anything from it?
Anything from what? The L’arpenteur book I just mentioned? If so, than no. Only a few pages I’ve posted in the past. I’ve got a friend who has one, and I need to invite myself to his house to take a look at it.
Hi there, in this post: http://theairtightgarage.tumblr.com/post/2083549577/the-few-pages-of-this-new-stuff-ive-found-have you mention different colouring jobs. I own the version of the book you have here, all digitally coloured. However, I'm fascinated by the watercolour versions of the same pages that you posted. Did you ever find out the reason behind the different versions?
I haven’t. I haven’t even had an opportunity to look at the complete Arzak: L’arpenteur yet, and I’ve been dying to.
