A blog exploring the work of Jean Giraud, aka Gir, aka Moebius. Basically, there didn't seem to be any places online that gave a comprehensive collection of his work, so I made one.
[The official site of Moebius] - While there are very few of his works available to an English-only audience, the last thing I want to do is take away from potential sales by hosting his work here. If you speak French and can enjoy his books the way they were originally meant to be enjoyed, please click over and show him some love.

Career Timeline: 1978 - The Eyes of the Cat
Moebius collaborates with Alejandro Jodorowsky on their first comic together, one of many to come. Described as a stream of consciousness piece, reminiscent of the Panic Movement, Les Yeux du Chat(The Eyes of the Cat) was made to be a gift to staff and friends of Les Humanoïdes Associés:
“Les Humanoïdes Associés’ publication in 1978 of Les Yeaux du Chat as a hardcover, digest-size giveaway album{printed on bright yellow paper) was intended to be a one-time-only publication of the story, never to be reprinted in any format. Copies were offered as bonus gifts to subscribers, mail order customers and ‘special friends’, and the supply was depleted long before the demand for the sought-after book had been satisfied. Les Yeaux du Chat became a coveted collector’s item, as well as a revered accomplishment. Its nearly legendary status was assured by its scarcity.”
— Stephen Bissette, from his introduction of it in Taboo #4, 1990
