A blog exploring the work of Jean Giraud, aka Gir, aka Moebius. Basically, there didn't seem to be any places online that gave a comprehensive collection of his work, so I made one.

TRON Why haven’t I posted any Tron work at this, the most appropriate time? There’s too god damn much of it for starters… So the dilly: I’d wager that most people, like myself, were first exposed to Moebius via Tron whether they knew it or not. Moebius designed practically the entire aesthetic of the film. Not all of it, as design supergenius Syd Mead conceived of the bikes and how they worked in a practical sense(which sounds kind of hilarious when talking about Tron), but Moebius did most of the rest. Especially the costumes. The crazy light contours, the weird cone shaped fat guy, all of that. I have literally hundreds of scans of drawings of his concept work, and I need to sift through them so as not to annihilate my follower’s dashboards. This may take some time, and I’m going to be gone for the weekend. Bear with me.
