A blog exploring the work of Jean Giraud, aka Gir, aka Moebius. Basically, there didn't seem to be any places online that gave a comprehensive collection of his work, so I made one.
[The official site of Moebius] - While there are very few of his works available to an English-only audience, the last thing I want to do is take away from potential sales by hosting his work here. If you speak French and can enjoy his books the way they were originally meant to be enjoyed, please click over and show him some love.

I feel like doing another call for people to submit Moebius covers. Instead of one image, I’d like to let people choose this time… within certain limits. I thought it would be fun if I picked one book and asked people to cover any one panel from it, whichever one they’d like. So:
INCAL PANEL CONTEST
Here’s the deal:
- Choose any panel from Moebius and Alejandro Jodorowsky’s run on The Incal(if you don’t have the book, here’s a bunch)
- Draw/ink/paint/sculp/perform(?) your own version of it
- Submit it here, making sure you give me your name, a place where someone may find more of your work(if you’ve got one), and the specific panel that you’ve covered.
- I’ll post it, with a side-by-side comparison of the original panel
- I’ll have this open for a month, so the deadline to submit is November 30
That’s it.
Oh hey yeah THERE’S ALSO A PRIZE THIS TIME! Humanoids has graciously sent me five copies of Moebius and Jodorowsky’s The Eyes of the Cat, and I’ll be mailing them out to the top five entries! The top 5 will be determined by the amount of notes that each entry receives(unfortunately this means that readers without a tumblr account can’t vote, sorry about that). I’ll wait two weeks after the deadline, see who got the most notes, and then call on people to send me their mailing address in private, so I can send off their prizes.
Sound good? Have fun!

Might have a go at this. Fun for everyone!
I’m doing this!
