A blog exploring the work of Jean Giraud, aka Gir, aka Moebius. Basically, there didn't seem to be any places online that gave a comprehensive collection of his work, so I made one.
[The official site of Moebius] - While there are very few of his works available to an English-only audience, the last thing I want to do is take away from potential sales by hosting his work here. If you speak French and can enjoy his books the way they were originally meant to be enjoyed, please click over and show him some love.
Brandon Graham says goodbye to Moebius. He was visiting Portland last weekend, and I hung out with him a little on the day the news broke. Sitting around with him and Joe Keatinge, watching Masters of Comic Book Art and talking about Giraud’s impact on us, definitely helped me get through some of the sadness. Thanks, Brandon.
Brandon Graham is a good friend of this tumblr, and I couldn’t be happier that his amazing series has finally been collected in trade paperback by Image Comics. I can’t recommend it enough, and being priced at $19.99 for 424 pages puts it well into the “how can you not buy this” category.
This piece is Brandon Graham’s entry. Brandon does amazing work, I am a huge fan of his book KingCity, and I can’t wait to see more of his Multiple Warheads series. Also, he’s been posting some very endearing diaries at The Comics Journal.
So yeah, all the Apple Pie Covers I know of are up here now. Just click on the ‘covers’ tag to see them all, or the ‘the apple pie’ tag to see them plus the original strip by Moeb.
