A blog exploring the work of Jean Giraud, aka Gir, aka Moebius. Basically, there didn't seem to be any places online that gave a comprehensive collection of his work, so I made one.
[The official site of Moebius] - While there are very few of his works available to an English-only audience, the last thing I want to do is take away from potential sales by hosting his work here. If you speak French and can enjoy his books the way they were originally meant to be enjoyed, please click over and show him some love.

Over at the Electric Ant Zine Blog, artist Ryan Sands has assembled a staggeringly great list of artists to undertake a project to cover every one of Moebius’ 1993 collector card series.
All of the images in the left column are original card art by Moebius. In the right, in descending order, are covers by Jesse Balmer, Dustin Harbin, Michael DeForge, and Olle Forsslöf.
Check the rest out here. They’re all amazing.
Hey, here are my long belated final colors! Thanks for maintaining the best tumblr in the galaxy.

Just noticed that the amazing Tonci Zonjic posted a Starwatcher cover on his sketch blog.
My homage to Moebius’ Starwatcher. I’m a huge fan of his work, and of Indiana Jones, so here they are…
Great Blog!

You still taking Star Watcher pictures? Well here’s one. With a manatee. And a little girl. It’s all very exciting.
http://kislingblog.blogspot.com/ I guess this is my website.
I needed to get back to drawing after a couple weeks intense planning for a dance recital (and a kidney stone eating all the slack in the schedule for that) made me take a break. Doing a Starwatcher with one of the title characters of my comic “Decrypting Rita” was a nice way to start to get back into the groove!
