[The official site of Moebius] - While there aren't many of his works available to an English-only audience, the last thing I want to do is take away from potential sales by hosting his work here. If you speak French and can enjoy his books the way they were originally meant to be enjoyed, please click over and show him and his publishers some love.
In 1971, Pilote magazine saw its 25th anniversary with issue 631. Two of its most popular serialized comics at the time were comedic western Lucky Luke(written by René Goscinny, illustrated by Belgian cartoonist Maurice “Morris” De Bevere), and the more series western Blueberry(written by Jean-Michel Charlier, illustrated by Jean “Gir” Giraud). So in celebration of this anniversary, they decided to cover each other. The top comparison shows an original Luke page by Morris on the right, with Gir’s cover on the left. The bottom set has Morris drawing a Blueberry page on the left, with the original on the right.
